Plot Gosei Sentai Dairanger

Southern China saw a golden age of the Daos civilization more than 8,000 years ago. Three tribes made up the Daos Empire: the Dai, the Shura (the forefathers of modern humans), and the Gorma, who coexisted peacefully.

The Gorma Tribe did attempt to conquer the Empire, nevertheless, one day. The Gorma and Dai Tribes’ conflict broke out at this point. The Gorma Triumvirate led the conflict for 5,000 years. The Gorma, whose magical abilities had developed to the point that they could transform themselves into monsters, seemed to be in opposition to the Mythical Qi Beasts.

The Qi abilities of the five Dai warriors had developed to the point where they could command the Mythical Qi Beasts. Both the Dai and Gorma Tribes vanished when the fighting was over. One of the two lost branches of the Daos, the Gorma Tribe, reappeared to rule the globe in 1993.

Master Kaku put together a group of five teenagers with strong Qi to combat them. They evolved into the modern day Dairangers.
