Plot - Kamen Rider BLACK
The ninth entry in the Kamen Rider series, Kamen Rider Black (BLACK, Kamen Raid Burakku, or “Masked Rider Black”) is a Japanese tokusatsu drama.
It broadcast on Mainichi Broadcasting System and the Tokyo Broadcasting System from October 4, 1987 to October 9, 1988 as the ninth entry of the Showa Era. The series, which had 51 episodes, was a product of a partnership between Ishinomori Productions and Toei Company.
In 2022, Kamen Rider Black Sun, a contemporary retelling, was produced to mark the 35th anniversary of both the series and the franchise as a whole.
On February 28, 2023, Discotek Media released Black on Blu-ray DVD in North America.
