Plot - Uchuu Keiji Gavan
The first Metal Hero in the series is Uchuu Keiji Gavan, also known as Uchyu Keiji Gaban, also known as Space Sheriff Gavan. From Friday, March 5, 1982, through Tuesday, February 25, 1983, at 7:30 p.m., it broadcast on TV Asahi.
Toei refers to this television show as Space Cop Gabin for distribution purposes.
Gavan received the title of Captain Chaku in the Power Rangers Beast Morphers series despite the show not being adapted for American audiences.
Plot Uchuu Keiji Gavan
The Makuu Empire (also known as “demon space”), ruled by Don Horror after he had first destroyed a space colony close to Earth, invades Earth. The Earth is a barrier that Don Horror must get over in order to rule the entire universe, but he doesn’t necessarily have to destroy it.
Don Horror sends spacecraft to Earth to spread fear in order to do this. Space Sheriff Gavan from the Galactic Union Patrol arrives in his starship, the Dolgiran, as the Makuu tries to assert its dominance. He is from the Bird Planet, where Space Sheriffs are educated and stationed while they are on call. Gavan is called to stand out for Earth, the planet that his mother was born on.
Gavan receives assistance from Mimi, Commander Qom’s daughter, and intelligence from Qom, who is assisted by Marin on his home world. Gavan travels to Earth to protect it from Don Horror and his terrible plans. Using his real human name, Retsu Ichijouji, he settles down on Earth and accepts a position at the Avalon Youth Club in Japan.
