Plot - Uchuu Keiji Sharivan – Space Sheriff Sharivan
The second episode of Toei’s Metal Hero Series, Uchuu Keiji Sharivan, also known as Space Sheriff Sharivan, broadcast on the TV Asahi network from 4 March 1983 to 24 February 1984.
With many of the same characters as its predecessor, Uchuu Keiji Gavan, it served as a straight sequel. Toei refers to this TV show as Sharivan, Space Guardian for distribution purposes.
Plot Uchuu Keiji Sharivan
Den Iga is assaulted by a Buffalo Doubler monster who first makes an appearance in Uchuu Keiji Gavan and is a member of the criminal organization Makuu Empire. When Gavan discovers Den after the attack, he has been gravely hurt and needs medical attention at Planet Bird.
The Galactic Union Patrol’s commander, Qom, is moved by Den’s bravery. In the final episode of Gavan, Den makes a cameo appearance and uses his newly acquired form of Space Sheriff Sharivan to save Gavan during the final battle.
Following the defeat of Don Horror, Sharivan is sent to Earth where he teams up with Lily from the planet Bird to cope with the threat posed by the Madou Space Crime Syndicate on Earth.
